Equitable 'Legendary' Pets.
When looking at the "Fellowship" monument, I noticed that there are only 3 pets that get into the monument. And 2 of them are from Factions.
So, I suggest to make each 'region' have its corresponding 'legendary'/'prestige' charmable animals.
For example:
Core: each core region would have its prestige pet.
- Level 20 Black Widow (Already existing). The Underword (finish quests).
- Level 20 animal for Fissure of Woe. Fissure of Woe (finish quests). Possible choices could be:
**A Black Hound or a Blaze Hound (Hyena resking with wolf and hellhound sounds)
**Wild Boar (Warthog reskin with bear sounds)
- If any of the remaining realms were to be added, a level 20 pet would be added to each one of them.
It would be also nice if PvP character could change pets, by making the Isle of the nameless spawn certain pets depending on its PvP titles, when the character enters there alone.
Prophecies:
- Level 20 Moss spider (Already existing). Dry Top (finish quest chain in Maguuma). Talk to Shadow in the Droknar's Forge (explorable), and she gives you a series of quests that makes you walk all over Maguuma and finally take you to Dry Top. Once made the quests, the Moss Spider would appear there anytime.
- Level 5 Blaze Phoenix (Red skin. Phoenix reskin). End credits: Droknar's Forge (explorable).
Factions
- Level 20 Black Moa (Already Existing). Ferndale (finish quest chain in Echovald). It should randomly appear as Dire and Hearty too.
- Level 5 Imperial Phoenix (Green skin. Already Existing). End credits: Divine Path.
Nightfall.
- Level 20 pet. Quest chain in Vabbi and/or The Desolation. Possible choices could be:
** A Blue-eyed Golden Moa (Moa Reskin)
** Black Panther (Female Lion reskin)
** Leopard
** Stork (crane reskin)
** Wild Boar.
** Cheetah.
- Level 5 Ghostly Phoenix (Blue skin. Phoenix Reskin). End credits: Throne of Secrets.
Eye of the North.
- For the Level 20 pet, possible choices could be:
** A Baboon or other primate (Reskin of Tusked XXX Great Beasts). By questing In Tarnished coast.
** Black Panther (Lynx reskin). Also in In Tarnished coast.
** Domesticated devourer by questing in the Charr lands.
Level 20.
- Level 5 Rainbow Phoenix (Iridescent skin. Already Existing). Hall of Monuments (+ > "People Know Me").
No need to create more models, or animations, just a couple of skins, and then the quests or the spawns (where applicable).
Remember, those are just examples.
The only ones I really want are 1 phoenix for each region, and the Moss Spider. And all are open for discusion!

I'd love if they actually made an Egyptian style Phoenix, especially if it only required you to beat Prophecies (which I've already done on my ranger).

I like it, for Example that Fire Phoenix (all the other's cause Piercing damage instead of slashing like most pets) this one could deal fire damage, the ghost pet could possibly have like a 5% damage reduction, the Wild Boar +5% dmg ect, Black widow could have a 5% chance to cause poison each time it attacks ect ect... That'd be Fun! ^_^

I'd like to see the wintersday moa's be one of them for eye of the north aswell except only in hard-mode(when they add it) and make the snowmen a much harder challenge.

I would like to see this. It would make the HoM fairer, and pet choice more interesting.
However, the second EotN legendary needs to be a Raptor Hatchling. Or some sort of Dinosaur.
Or even a quest from Vekk to further his "I think Charr can be domesticated" idle quote.

Sorry, but... like all pets, they would deal physical damage.
Being a 'Fire Phoenix' means that has red and shiny feathers. And the 'Ghost Phoenix' would just be translucent like other Ghost.
It won't be fair having deal elemental, holy, chaos shadow or untyped damage.
But mine are just examples. I used Phoenixes for all four campaigns as 'endgame' pets, to make things even more 'equitable' and save even more models, but they could be anything.
For example, for Fissure: a fire lizard(dune lizard), a firebird(raven)...
From those I listed, the only ones I would like for sure are the Yellow Moa and the Moss Spider.
The main points is the you can get two monument pets in Cantha, one in the underworlds, and none anywhere else. And since no more models or squeletons are needed, just some skins would do.

FoW should probably be a battle hound - Balthazar is known for his hounds of war, after all. A wolf reskin should do the job.

They could use this:
Shard Wolf.
It already exists in the Fissure of Woe.....

Well... they should be at least based on real living animals. Even Phoenixes have real counterparts.
But the Dog idea is good. Dogs and wolves are basically the same race (they can even mate and have fertile breed), dingos, wolves, and all dog races are the same species. A dog would fit the 'Fire' theme, since the element of the Zodiacal sing Dog is 'fire'.

what i would realy wish a legendary pets would be for GW:EN the Fenrir ...
they also exist ingame
imo one of the most coolest and epic looking creatures in the game, this is the absolute most wanted pet for my ranger, when those would come, my ranger would become perma beast master
Edit. GW needs so or so more epic looking pets for rangers, lesser real animals, more fantasy beasts like the Phoenix or the Fenrir, naturally not exactly fenrir for all, this one as a smaler version too with an unspellable norselike name
For me it should look like this:
Core:
Black Widdow
Basilisk /special reskin of Living Land, that looks more like a big reptile
Prophecies:
Heavenly Gryphon
Yellow Grand Moa (Chocobos Ftw XD) GW2 future Mount unlockable *g*
Factions:
Leviathan (Special Reskin of Salt Spray Dragon) > Winged Sea Snake / Black Moas becoming normal pets, imo theres nothign special about them, other then their extraordinary look, too easy to get for a legendary ranger pet
Imperial Phonix
Nightfall:
Desert Devourer /Reskin of siege devourer, only tinier
a harpy reskin
GW:EN:
Quetzalcoatl > Big Thunder Bird/ reskin of phoenix
Fenrir

Factions has already two of them.
The whole point of this is to add where there is not and could be, so all capaings have the same.

I always liked those Hellhounds Neverwinter nights had. Bascailly are Doberman with buring red eyes and spiked collars (Much like Black a dog version of a Black moa)

Love the OP's idea, but this ^ will never happen. All pets are the same, except for the minor slashing vs piercing damage, period.
(And prophecies bears suck).

Yeah, needless to say. Pets only have Slashing, Piercing and other physical damage types. Never elemental, untyped, dark chaous or holy. Only physical.
They would be just cute reskins of alreay existing models, and even existing models only used sometimes, like the Moss Spider, to save time and help persuading Anet this can be done with little effort, but greatly appreciated by all players, specially those that purchased all campaigns.
